Talk about bad timing! The same day she finds herself gracing the cover of Star Magazine under the heading “Rihanna’s Deadly Party Binge,” wanna be rock star Rihanna tweets a photo of herself hospitalized with an IV drip.

Many are now speculating that Rihanna, 24, was actually hospitalized for hard partying and not the flu like her people her claiming. A report states she was hospitalized for dehydration and exhaustion following the Met Ball on May 7.

Not helping matters is the latest Star Magazine cover story which basically states Rihanna has spent the last few months doing drugs, bingeing, hard partying, while also hooking up with numerous men and women. Yikes!

“Rihanna loves to party but this past month she’s gotten really out of control,” an insider tells Star. “She’s been drinking almost everyday and talking about smoking weed a lot too.”

Her wild nights include a late visit to a strip club in Queens, New York, on May 2 during which she tweeted wild photos of herself with strippers. “Everyone is telling her to slow down and think about therapy, or even rehab,” the source continues.

Rihanna however doesn’t believe she needs any help and actually revels in her poser bad girl reputation!  She has said: “I’m crazy and I don’t pretend to be anything else.”

As for what led to this downward spiral, the insider says it all has to do with her ex Chris Brown and the fact that he has moved on with new girlfriend Karrueche Tran, even getting a tattoo of her on his arm.

“When Chris got the tattoo,” the source says. “Rihanna freaked out. She’s been obsessed with the thought that he’s going to marry Karrueche and she’ll never be able to get back with him. She’s heartbroken and in a bad place.”
