A new Miss USA was crowned tonight! And that honor went to Miss Rhode Island Olivia Culpo.
Olivia, 20, is described as a sophomore at Boston University who has made the Dean’s List every semester.
Her bio reveals both of her parents both began their professional lives as musicians; and Olivia has been playing the cello since second grade. She’s one of five children.
Olivia beat out the runner-up Miss Maryland Nana Meriwether, and the second runner up Miss Ohio Audrey Bolte.
