It’s been 24 hours since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes shocked us with what is being called the quickest celebrity divorce settlement in the history of celebridom.

Just less than two weeks after Katie, 33, reportedly blindsided Tom by filing for divorce and requesting sole custody of their 6-year-old daughter Suri, the two came to a divorce settlement on Monday (July 9) and the good news is, details of that confidential agreement are staring to leak out!

And it appears Team Cruise really really badly wants us to believe he only quickly caved in settled this case because he wanted to protect Suri. But unfortunately for Tom, pretty much no one is buying that tale as most believe he quickly settled this case because he wanted the very negative publicity regarding his personal life, questions about his sexuality and the validity of this marriage, plus criticism of his Scientology religion to go away.

According to Radar Online, Katie played hardball and got everything she wanted. The site claims Katie got primary custody of Suri and will get to reside in New York City with her. Tom will get visitations though he is not allowed to involve Suri in anything Scientology related, and Katie’s nanny and bodyguards will reportedly accompany Suri during her visits with Tom to prevent any brainwashing. Wowzers.

TMZ is however denying some of Radar’s details as the site claims that while Katie does have primary custody, Tom got ‘generous visitation’ and that Katie’s nanny and bodyguards are not required to accompany Suri during her time with her dad. TMZ does confirm there are very detailed clauses in the agreement which prohibits both Tom and Katie from talking about religion with Suri.

TMZ’s spin sounds like it came directly from Tom’s camp so I’m more inclined to believe Radar’s side.

Plus Us Weekly also reported on the divorce agreement which seems to back up Radar’s report. Katie’s camp tells Us Weekly “She won and is happy. Very happy.” The source adds, “She can move on and finally live her life.”
