Joshua Jackson Says Katie Holmes Called Him After Tom Cruise Split

After Katie Holmes’ very public blind-side divorce to former Hubby, Tom Cruise, things may be looking up once again for the sugary-sweet actress.

A recent appearance of Joshua Jackson on Canadian talk show, George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, the former Dawson’s Creek co-star revealed that Katie did indeed reach out to him following her escape split from Tom.

Joshua stated: “Like any old friend, it was like, ‘Oh, hi how are ya?  What’s going on?  Ahhh, I had a kid, (Katie).  Yeah I know.  It’s crazy.”

Even though Jackson has been with his girlfriend, Diane Kruger, since 2006, it would be nice for Holmes to finally have a friendly face in her corner (that isn’t alien in nature).

Katie was also quick to swoon over her long-ago success on Dawson’s Creek.  Last November at the Good Morning America show (one of the few times she was allowed out of the house), Katie gushed, “I had so much fun working on that show, and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories.”

And now she just wants world peace, or at least for the aliens not to come and take her away.
