Jennifer Aniston is finally showing off the engagement ring fiancé Justin Theroux gave her on his birthday back in August, and it managed to blind half the population of Santa Fe, New Mexico!

Well not really, but the ring is huge and very sparkly.  Aniston and Theroux, who have stayed hidden away since they became engaged two months ago, were in Santa Fe over the weekend where the first photos of the ring were snapped.  The ring features an emerald cut rock the size of Jen’s fist surrounded by diamonds.

Aniston’s ex betrayer of trust husband Brad Pitt gave her an engagement ring he helped design that is estimated to have cost around $500,000 and was made up of multiple small stones.  The ring Justin gave her is totally different from that custom piece- which I’m guessing is probably exactly what Jen wanted.

Of course comparisons are now being made to the ring Pitt gave home wrecker Angelina Jolie several months ago, which also features a very large diamond.  If I had to choose between the two I’d say Team Aniston’s diamond all the way!
