Beyonce To Perform at Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show in 2013!
UPDATE – Beyonce just confirmed the news by posting the photo below on her website with the caption – “Countdown to Touchdown”!
Singer and actress, Beyonce, may be setting the halftime stage on fire at Super Bowl XLVll this coming February 13th. Though it’s not official, according to the Associated Press, Beyonce has agreed to thrill fans and players alike with her performance on the Mercedes-Benz Superdome stage in New Orleans.
Super Bowl has been known not just for two power-house football teams going head-to-head for the trophy, but also for their stellar entertainment value. Remember 2004 when Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction was boob-casted? Coincidentally, Beyonce performed the national anthem at that game.
I wonder if she was thinking, ‘glad it isn’t me up there’?
With most of the past performers being, shall we say, dinosaurs, Beyonce will be the first young, hip singer since Britney Spears in 2001, to light up the stage and will no doubt have the crowd on their feet.

Jennifer Aniston Gets Emotional Talking About Engagement To Chelsea Handler!
Jennifer Aniston made an appearance on Chelsea Handler’s show Chelsea Lately, Monday night.
While talking to gal pal Handler about her engagement to Justin Theroux, Aniston became teary-eyed and told Chelsea; “I just got verklempt.” Handler replied; “You are so happy. He’s the greatest guy ever. You guys make the greatest couple ever. I’m so happy for you, too.”
We are so very verklempt for you also Jen! Whatever that means.
After Aniston, 43, had stopped with the waterworks she suggested Handler needs an engagement of her own saying, “That would be a good thing to do. Make an honest woman out of you!”
“And stop bashing my ex’s fiance every two minutes Chelsea, you’re making me look bad and taking away from my big diamond ring.” Just a little something I think Aniston should have also said to Handler.

Kristen Stewart and on-again boyfriend Robert Pattinson were seen knocking them [booze] back with a group of friends in Los Angeles, Sunday night.
ET acquired the first photographs of the couple together since the vampire scandal of the year was brought to light. (Ya know that whole Stewart cheating with Rupert Sanders thing … the same year the final movie in the Twilight series is being released.)
If you were worried about these two, have no fear. Witnesses say Stewart and Pattinson were at the Ye Rustic Inn, a bar in Los Feliz, for over four hours behaving like nothing mattered but enjoying a Sunday Funday “cozied up with each other,” and getting drunk to wipe away the pain sharing drinks and laughs with friends.
While we still suspect all this may have a lot to do with the upcoming release of Breaking Dawn 2 , it is nice to see these two crazy kids back together again.

Is Tom Cruise Leaving Scientology to Win Back Katie Holmes?
Looks like Tom Cruise is feeling the effects of his years with the alien worshippers scientologists. A source close to Cruise claims that Tom may be thinking of leaving Scientology once and for all, in a bid to win back ex-wife Katie Holmes.
“Now he’s lost the most precious thing in his life, he sees that his Scientology beliefs may not have hurt his box office but have ended not one but two marriages. It was a terrifying and rude awakening for Tom when Katie served him with divorce papers. He’s used to feeling undefeatable and untouchable. When he lost Katie he felt a failure,” the source told The People newspaper.
Tom first entered Scientology back in 1990 when he was married to Mimi Rogers. Cruise then went on to marry Nicole Kidman and sources claim that his religion played a role in their surprising divorce back in 2001.
“He has lost Nicole and now his wife and daughter. He has always used the Scientology techniques but he has now realized they don’t work in marriage,” the source added.
Would Katie be crazy forgiving enough to go back to Tom though? According to the source, she may just be: “If Tom truly leaves, Katie would reconsider. She was in love with Tom, he was her childhood crush, it took a lot of strength to break free. But now she has peace of mind but no love.”
You have to wonder if Tom could truly leave the cult he’s been a part of for so long. Or if they would even let him leave … ya know what they say- once you go alien you can’t go back …

Rihanna is Vogue’s November 2012 cover girl. This is the second time the singer is featured as a cover girl for Vogue US, having also been on the cover back in April 2011.
Rihanna was featured on the cover of Vogue UK back in November 2011 and Vogue Italia in September 2009.
The 24 year old has been in the studio finalizing her upcoming album Unapologetic, which is due to be out on November 19th.
In her interview with the mag, Rihanna gets very candid about her abusive ex/currently beau Chris Brown revealing that a lack of closure following their domestic violence incident led to an “obsession” with him.
“To the world, I feel like there’s no closure,” she says of Chris, 23. “There’s some obsession that’s continued even throughout when we weren’t friends or couldn’t be friends at all. Hated each other. The world hasn’t let go.”
She admits that their rekindled friendship “a bit of a fascination, I guess . . . I don’t know if people will stop soon, but I feel like as soon as they have closure to it, they will.”
Rihanna, who was assaulted by Chris back in 2009, goes on to insist that concerned fans are “not on the inside. They can’t see what I see, unless they’re sitting in my point of view. I guess I’ll learn to accept that.”
Personally, given her actions in regard to Brown as of late, I think Vogue could have picked a better model to grace their cover, but that’s just my opinion. *Shrug*

Scarlett Johansson and Boyfriend Nate Naylor Break Up
Next! That’s what Scarlett Johansson might be thinking now that she and Nate Naylor have split up.
The ex couple, who were first photographed together back in February 2012, had been dating for about a year before the break up was confirmed by a source to Us Weekly.
“They met though [sic] mutual friends,” a friend said. “And they were hot and heavy right off the bat.” The pal went on to describe Naylor as “a really interesting guy . . . more artist than businessman.”
Johansson, 27, was previously married to Ryan Reynolds and then dated Sean Penn after that didn’t work out. Rumors of trouble with Nate, 38, had already surfaced when Johansson was seen last month at the Democratic National Convention holding hands with (yet another) ex Jared Leto. Her reps denied anything was amiss claiming they are just friends. This came right after Nate and Scarlett took a romantic trip to Paris in August.
We wonder if somewhere in the world Blake Lively is having herself a giggle at this latest news.
