Pink Reveals How She Lost 55 Pounds Of Baby Weight On Shape Cover!
During her pregnancy with daughter Willow Sage, singer Pink gained 55 pounds after indulging in, “a lot of cheesecake during those nine months. Also, anything sour; Sour Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, key lime pie,” she admitted to Shape magazine.
I eat a lot of cheesecake too! … except I’m not pregnant.
Don’t feel badly for her though. Since giving birth back in June 2011, Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, has dropped the 55 pounds through an extensive workout routine. Just eight weeks after having her daughter she hooked up with celebrity trainers Jillian Michaels and Jeanette Jenkins who,” kicked my butt more than any other person I’ve worked out with,” said Pink. “They’re both amazing, and their bodies were all the inspiration I needed to get back into shape.”
Her workout routine was different every day, but always included a combo of cardio and strength training. Doing intervals of power yoga, kickboxing, and treadmill routines, pink has seen “great results.” Pink also eats healthy feeding her family vegan fare such as arugula and asparagus, couscous and brown rice. The proud mom also cut out smoking. Before her pregnancy she admits to have been smoking a pack a day. Now the smell is “repulsive” to her.
While she is happy with her once again rockin bod, Pink says that being a mom is what makes her the happiest. “It’s just pure joy for Carey and me. Willow has made us more fun — we’re this cool little threesome.” Motorcross racer Carey Hart is Pink’s husband and Willow’s father.
