Robert Downey Jr, is back as Tony Stark in Iron Man 3.  The 18 seconds of footage shows Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), looking frightened, and a peek at Iron Man’s new suit.  Plus, a slight glimpse at Iron Man’s new nemesis, Mandarin, played by Sir Ben Kingsley.

The full trailer is set to debut, Tuesday Oct. 23rd.  Meanwhile check out Disney’s plot summary;

Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. Along with Robert and Gwyneth, other stars include; Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall and Jon Favreau, “Iron Man 3″ is out in theaters next year on May 3, 2013, with a different director, Shane Black (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) instead of Jon Favreau.
