Report – Jessica Simpson’s Dad Joe Simpson Confesses He’s Gay; Wife Files For Divorce

Jessica Simpson’s father and manager, Joe Simpson, has reportedly come out of the closet.

A source close to the family told The National Enquirer, that not only is Joe gay, but he’s also found himself a 20 something-year-old boyfriend.   The Enquirer reports: “Joe got the family together about two months ago and came out of the closet,” an insider divulged. “He told them that he’d tried to continue in his marriage to Tina, but he couldn’t go on any longer and deny the fact that he had these feelings for men.

Some speculate this may be the real reason why Tina Simpson, filed for divorce in late September.  Joe, 54, said; “it wasn’t fair to her, and it wasn’t fair to him.”

I think ‘unfair’ may be the least of what’s Tina’s calling him now.

Tina filed for divorce in McLennan County, Texas, on Sept. 24, citing “discord or conflict of personalities” as grounds for the divorce.

However, this isn’t the only naughty thing former youth pastor Joe as done.  He was also caught drunk driving in Sher­man Oaks, Calif., on August 4.  “The police report stated that there was someone else in the car with Joe,” said a source close to the Simpson family. “Some reports have stated it was Tina, but now the belief is that it may well have been a boyfriend.”

So the dude must look like a lady?

While the Simpsons are remaining mum on the gay report, their rep does confirm Tina has filed for divorce.  “Tina and Joe Simpson have filed for divorce,” the statement reads.  “It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved.  Any other related allegations are completely false.  The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time.”
