Channing Tatum Making No Friends In Hollywood; People Hoping He Will Fail
Now there’s a shocker.
According to sources that spoke to the tabloid Channing Tatum “has become too big for his britches, and his high-flying attitude is making him no friends in Hollywood.”
“A lot of people are rooting for Channing to be knocked down a peg or two,” the source with a case of sour grapes claims.
The “insider” also alleges that they’ve heard other actors say that “Channing is going to fall on his butt one day,” and they want to have a “ringside seat.” Apparently Channing is tripping all over himself when it comes to “big-name producers,” but doesn’t give “lesser known actors the time of day.”
On the set of Magic Mike, Channing allegedly bossed co-star Alex Pettyfer around. “Alex played a character based on Channing during his stripper days, and Tatum bossed him around all day until they nearly came to blows. And even though Alex was second billed, Channing pretty much had him cut out of any promotion for the movie,” claims a source. “Channing had a producer’s credit and acted like he owned the set.”
Seeing as how the film was co-financed by Channing and was based on his experiences as a stripper, I think acting like he owned the joint was allowed.
Apparently Channing has big dreams to “become a Hollywood power broker in the mold of Brad Pitt and George Clooney,” and what’s wrong with that? The only people who will find fault with those aspirations are the jealous losers who are wasting their time talking to tabloids, instead of figuring out a way to make something out of their own lives.
