Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves Welcome Third Child – Son Livingston Alves McConaughey!

UPDATE – It appears TMZ had it wrong as Matthew announced that his third child with Camille is a boy.  He wrote on Facebook: “Camila Alves gave birth to our third child yesterday morning. Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey, was born at 7:43 a.m on Dec. 28, 2012. He greeted the world at 9 lbs. and 21 inches. Bless up and thank you for your well wishes.”

Matthew McConaughey had a big reason to celebrate yesterday- His wife Camila Alves gave birth to their third child!

TMZ broke the news after sources told them about the happy event, which took place in a hospital in Austin, Texas.  They say that Matthew was in attendance for the birth and that he was “ecstatic.”

TMZ also stated that their sources told them the baby is a girl, and a source that spoke to Us Weekly is reporting the same.  The new little darling has two older siblings Levi, 4, and Vida, 3, bringing the number of the McConaughey-Alves clan to a happy five!

Those two don’t take a break in the baby-making thing.

Matthew and Camila didn’t want to know the sex of their two other children before their births, and they kept that tradition going with baby number three; “It’s a wonderful surprise,” the proud new papa has said.

Matthew and Camila were married this year after meeting in 2006 .  Matthew first announced the news of their third pregnancy only weeks after the couple got hitched.
