Move over Miss America 2012 (whatever your name is) as there’s a new winner in town!

On Saturday night, Miss New York Mallory Hytes Hagan was crowned Miss America 2013 in Las Vegas!

The 23-year-old also won both the swimsuit and evening gown competition earlier in the evening.  Her talent? Tap dancing.

However, Mallory perhaps gave her best performance during the Q & A segment of the competition. When asked about gun violence when it comes to recent school shootings such as in Newtown, CT, Mallory stated: “I don’t think the proper way to fight violence is with violence.”

The most shocking part about Mallory’s win is the before and after picture of her below which shows her drastic transformation and weight loss in just a span of two years. The left photo was taken in 2010 after Mallory was crowned Miss Brooklyn, and the right photo was taken in 2012 after she won Miss New York.

Mallory appears to have lost about 20 pounds or so. Good for her as her hard work has paid off.

In addition to her crown and sash, Mallory also walks away with a $50,000 scholarship. (Really Trump? Just $50,000???)
