The Super Bowl is almost upon us and that means everyone’s favorite pastime is also almost here- watching the brand new, often hilarious, commercials large companies release to promote their products to
drunken sports fans!
If you can’t wait to see the offerings this year, don’t fret, Mercedes-Benz has posted their new promo on YouTube and it features a fresh-faced Kate Upton. The commercial is titled “Kate Upton Washes the All-New Mercedes-Benz CLA in Slow Motion,” but before you fella’s get toooo excited, the commercial doesn’t exactly live up to its name.
Although you do get to see the Victoria’s Secret model strut her stuff sexily for the camera, you won’t be seeing her dripping wet body sliding around the hood of the vehicle … she actually doesn’t do any of the labor.
So sorry to disappoint all you
The commercial is a humorous attempt on Mercedes-Benz’ behalf, and has generated over 4.2 million views on the Mercedes-Benz USA channel, as well as thousands of tweets and Facebook comments. It has also been criticized for implying that women can get what they want via “sex appeal,” to which I say- get a hobby and take up an actual cause everyone- this is only a commercial.
