VIDEO: Watch Adam Levine’s SNL “YOLO” Video With The Lonely Island!
Adam Levine and a newly returned Andy Samberg, along with his comedy sketch troupe The Lonely Island, gave “YOLO” a whole new meaning during a digital short on Saturday Night Live.
The popular acronym that stands for “you only live once,” and coined by rapper Drake, is usually associated with living life to the fullest- and taking risks in order to do so. However, it was redefined on SNL as a motto to not lead a crazy life but a paranoid one, to save for retirement, and to never go outside without a titanium suit on in order to avoid death by piano.
“You’re only on this Earth for a short time, so don’t go outside because you don’t want to die. Just take our advice and hide and scream ‘YOLO’ to the sky.”
