AUDIO – Listen to Beyonce’s New Controversial Songs Bow Down & I Been On!

Beyoncé’s latest song has the Bey-hive divided, and some of us just thinking “blah.”

Queen B posted a preview of her latest track, “Bow Down,” to Tumblr, along with a young Beyoncé surrounded by trophies, on Mar. 17 and the song is a definite step away from her usual R&B style.  One large, obnoxious, step away, that’s being compared to Rihanna’s style of music.

I know when you were little girls
You grabbed a bee-ing in my world
Don’t forget it, don’t forget it
Respect that, bow down, b-tches

Those are a few lyrics from the single, produced by Hit-Boy.  While some Beyoncé fans love Mrs. Carter’s edgy and aggressive new style, others aren’t all that amused:

“how can u sing at the presidents inauguration then release this disgusting, offensive song @beyonce? I’m genuinely shocked,” one fan commented.

Not sure about you all, but I think Bey should have left the trash-talking, “I can do what I want crap” to the RiRi’s of the world.  We already know what she’s about.

Complete “Bow Down” lyrics follow:

I’m at that H town, coming, coming down,

I’m coming down

Get it on the ground
H town, I’m coming down, coming down
Get it on the ground

I know when you were little girls
You grabbed a bee-ing in my world
Don’t forget it, don’t forget it
Respect that, bow down, b-tches

I took some time to live my life
But don’t think I’m just his little wife
Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted
This my sh-t

Bow down, b-tches
Bow down, b-tches
Bow down, b-tches
Bow down, b-tches

H-town b-tches, H-H-town b-tches

I’m so crowned, bow, bow down b-tches

I’m at that H town, coming, coming down, I’m coming down
Get it on the ground

Justin Timberlake Disses Kanye West On Saturday Night Live!

Justin Timberlake’s feud with Kanye West heated up Saturday night when JT performed, “Suit and Tie,” with Jay-Z on Saturday Night Live.

And by heated up I mean may have gotten lukewarm, but Justin did finally respond to Kanye’s slam from a few weeks ago.

Changing up his new single’s original lyrics of “Aww, s**t so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” to “my hit’s so sick got RAPPERS acting dramatic,” Justin called Kanye out for rapping “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f–king with that ‘Suit & Tie,” during a concert last month.

While I’m not saying it’s the best comeback ever, it is pretty funny and I think right on point- Haters gonna hate.

Keri Hilson Has Twitter Meltdown Following “Years Of Verbal Abuse” From Beyonce Fans

Singer Keri Hilson had a complete meltdown on Twitter after Beyoncé fans verbally bashed her following a tweet she posted.

The drama started for Keri several years ago, 2008 to be precise, when Beyoncé fans, or as they’re better known the “BeyHive,” bee-lieved that Keri, 30, was bashing their Queen B in her “Turning Me On” remix song. The lyrics in question are below -

“Your vision cloudy if you think that you da best,” so Keri sings to the lines which reportedly diss Beyonce and Ciara. “You can dance/she can sing but need to move it to the le…(Don’t do it to ‘em shawty!)/She need to go have some babies/she need to sit down she fake/Them other chicks ain’t even worth talkin bout…”

Though it’s been years since that song was released, and reports claim that Keri wasn’t actually taking shots at Beyoncé, but at singer Ciara, Beyoncé’s more, um, adamant, fans won’t let it go, because they’re effing crazy, and have taken to harassing Keri whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Which it did yesterday following this tweet posted by Keri:

Bey’s fans automatically took this one tweet as an assault on their haloed one, and proceeded to slam Keri with insults about her and her music.

When Keri realized the verbal bashing wasn’t going to stop she cracked:

Keri’s pleas didn’t end there.  The singer tried to explain the impact this kind of harassment has on a person, tweeting:

Keri then concluded by saying that her mistakes have already been dealt with … by God.

Yeah, things didn’t get much better from there.  However, Keri decided to brush the incident off … eventually … and tweeted that she is “at peace, truly happy,” and that “the best is yet to come.”

Kanye West Rant VIDEO – Disses Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake, Plus The Grammys!

Kanye West used his show on Saturday as a platform to publicly diss Justin Timberlake, the Grammys, and unsuspecting corporate business people (who are often disliked by many, but still.)

While giving a performance in London, the always tactless Kanye, went on a rant over Jay-Zs involvement in Justin Timberlake’s comeback track, ‘Suit & Tie’; “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f–kin’ with that ‘Suit & Tie,’” Kanye sniped.

Jay-Z and Kanye have worked on many projects together in the past, and have also toured together.  However, since Jay-Z partook in Justin’s new single, the two of them have performed together and even announced a twelve city tour they will be going on together.  Maybe Kanye is being like a jealous girlfriend over being snubbed by his old friend, Hov.

Kanye then went on to say that the Grammy’s, which he’s implied has a racist side to it in the past, could “suck his d**k,” and that he’s “never won a Grammy against a white person.”  My guess on this rant is that if Kanye were to win another Grammy, he wouldn’t turn it down.

But if you think that Kanye only hates people/things that don’t give him what he wants, you’re wrong.  He also hates anyone/company that wants to work with him; “Can I sell your drink for you, please?” Kanye mocked. “So you can help me put on a better show, please, corporations? Can you please support me, please? Me, Kanye West? I swear I’m a nice n***a now.”

There’s nothing worse than a case of sour grapes from someone who only keeps getting richer.

Kelly Clarkson Slams Clive Davis! Says He Bullied Her

Record executive, Clive Davis’  new memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life, is hitting all the wrong notes with singer Kelly Clarkson.

In the book Clive writes about “a very tough conversation” he had with Kelly at a meeting.  Clive states that the conversation “didn’t get any easier when Kelly burst in to hysterical sobbing,” when he demanded the song “Since U Been Gone” be added onto her second album, Breakaway.

Kelly, for her part, says Clive is a bully with a bad memory; “Not true at all,” Kelly wrote in a letter she posted on her official site. “His stories and songs are mixed up. I couldn’t be more proud of that song. I resent him dampening that song in any way.”

The singer admits that she did in fact cry at the meeting, but it was only after Clive called her a “sh**ty writer  who should be grateful for the gifts that he bestows” upon her, when she played him the song  “Because of You,” which he immediately hated.

“I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation,” Kelly wrote in her letter. “I cried because he hated it. …This was devastating coming from a man who I, as a young girl, considered a musical hero and was so honored to work with. But I continued to fight for the song and the label relented. And it became a worldwide hit. He didn’t include that in the book.”

Clive reps responded to Kelly’s letter with a statement of their own; “I think Kelly Clarkson is a tremendous vocal talent and performer. In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences. I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together.”

Issue taken or not, Kelly is glad that she at least learned this lesson; “Anyway, I love my job. I love my music. I love my fans. I love my label and all of my professional relationships… now. And I am grateful for Clive for teaching me to know the difference.”

Clive Davis Comes Out As Bisexual In New Memoir

In a long-awaited memoir entitled, The Soundtrack of My Life, record executive, Clive Davis, reveals that he is bisexual and has been in a few committed relationships with men throughout the years.

Rolling Stone states that the revelation comes at the conclusion of the memoir; “In a candid five-page section toward the end of the book, due in stores today, he [Clive] writes that he first had a sexual encounter with a man during “the era of Studio 54.”  Clive says that after having had some drinks, he felt open to responding to the man’s “sexual overtures,” and explains that being with a man, after having only been with women his entire life (Clive has been married and divorced twice,) came as a “welcome relief.”

Clive goes on to say that after some “soul searching and self-analysis,” he decided to separate from his second wife and went on to have relationships with two women and a man.  In 1990 he began a “monogamous relationship” with a male doctor who he was involved with until 2004.   While that relationship didn’t work out in the long run, Clive met another man and continues to be in a relationship with him to this day.

Revealing his sexuality hasn’t been an easy road for the 80-year-old record exec.  In fact, it brought upon what Clive describes as a “very trying year” with his son Mitchell, but eventually they were able to work things out.
