It’s that time of the year again when a new Miss USA is crowned!
The lucky gal to take home the crown this year is none other than Miss Connecticut Erin Brady.
The 25-year-old beat out 50 other hopefuls, including first runner-up Mary Margaret McCord of Alabama, to win the highly coveted title.

Erin replaces last year’s runner-up Nana Meriwether, who became Miss USA after the actual winner Olivia Culpo became Miss Universe.
When it comes to Erin’s bio, she is a financial accountant who graduated with a degree in finance at Central Connecticut State University and minored in criminal justice.
In addition to her love for cooking, Erin is also engaged to Tony Capasso. In fact, the couple set up a website for their upcoming wedding later this year!

Miss Iowa Nicole Kelly Makes History as First Winner Born Without an Arm
The newly crowned Miss Iowa Nicole Kelly is making headlines today for all the right reasons!
In addition to her new crown, the 23-year-old is also making history as the first pageant winner with a major disability as Nicole was born without her left forearm.
Nicole wrote about her disability on her bio page on the Miss Iowa pageant website. “I was born without my left forearm. (Although, when people ask me what happened to my arm, I like to ask, ‘Well, what do you think happened?’ My favorite explanation to date has been that it was bitten off by a shark…a perfect explanation for someone from Iowa.) As I grew older, I learned to offset the initial stares I received from people with an outgoing personality that would not give in to ‘No.’ This meant that I tried everything! From baseball, to dance to diving, there was nothing I would not try,” wrote Nicole.
“I found my passion within a world where I was giving people permission to stare…the stage,” she continued.
Indeed, Nicole was a theater major in college, and hopes to become a Broadway Stage Manager someday. She also recently completed a stint on Broadway in the Tony-nominated play, The Assembled Parties. For the talent portion of the pageant, she performed Broadway hit song “Defying Gravity” from “Wicked.”
Following her big win, she is now gearing up to compete at the Miss America Pageant Sept. 15 in Atlantic City, NJ.
Must say it’s nice to be writing about a beautiful young lady accomplishing something phenomenal without having released a sex tape!

Tulisa Contostavlos Arrested For Supplying Drugs
British singer Tulisa Contostavlos has been arrested on allegations of supplying drugs.
Cops detained the 24 year-old on Tuesday morning as she was taken to a London police station for questioning. The police are reportedly conducting a search of her home in Hertfordshire, England, as well as another residential property.
Tulisa was arrested along with an unnamed 35-year-old man who is suspected to be her friend — part-time rapper Mike GLC.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police states: “Officers from Westminster have arrested two people – a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman – on suspicion of supplying class A drugs. They are in custody at a Central London police station.”
The arrest comes just days after The Sun newspaper exposed the singer in an undercover operation, during which she was allegedly caught on camera agreeing to arrange a cocaine deal worth $1,240 in May.
Tulisa and Mike GLC have since been released on bail and are scheduled to be back in court some time in July.

President Barack Obama Jokes About Lipstick On Collar
President Obama wanted to avoid the wrath of Michelle make on thing clear Tuesday night, and that is that the lipstick stain on his shirt collar was completely innocent!
Indeed the President surprised his audience when he appeared at the podium with a very obvious lipstick stain on his collar. Obama made it clear it came from a woman he greeted at a reception.

“Where’s Jessica Sanchez? It wasn’t Jessica, this is her aunt,” Obama jokingly stated at the Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration in the East Room, pointing to lipstick on shirt collar.
“Auntie, right there, look at this,” he said, pointing at the red stain on his collar. “That’s why I want everybody to witness.”
“So, I do not want to be in trouble with Michelle. That’s why I’m calling you out, in front of everybody” he added, before beginning his speech!

And the good news is thanks to TIME magazine, President Barack Obama’s high school prom photo has new been uncovered.
The photo was taken BM (Before Michelle) during the President’s 1979 prom in Hawaii.
In the above pic, a 17-year-old Obama sports a groovy afro with a blonde lady to his right who we can only assume was his prom date!
The President attended Punahou School where he spent his days studying, playing basketball (as a player on the varsity team) and hanging out with his friends. You know, normal bro stuff!

Kate Middleton Reveals She Hopes To Have A Boy!
We’re sure the Duchess of Cambridge will love her baby no matter what it turns out to be, but according to pregnant royal, she would prefer it turned out to be a boy.
During the annual St. Patrick’s Day ceremony yesterday in Aldershot, Hampshire, Kate Middleton passed out symbolic shamrocks to the Irish Guards, and that’s where she met guardsman Lee Wheeler, who asked the 31-year-old mum to be if she knew whether she was having a boy or a girl; “She said ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl.’ I asked her if she had any names and she said no.”
Guardsman, Jason Perry, asked the Duchess if she was excited to have her first child and Kate answered “very.”
Meanwhile, in an “oops” moment any woman can relate to, Kate’s heel got stuck in a grate at one point, but Price William’s gracious bride simply laughed it off, as she leaned on her husband for support as she freed herself from the situation.
Though it’s been reported that Kate is expecting a girl, we’re sure she will be completely overjoyed as soon as she sees her little bundle, whatever it may be!
