Rapper Azealia Banks Disses Lil Kim: “Everyone Knows She Doesn’t Write Her Own Raps”

Bring on the drama! Before even releasing her debut album, rapper Azealia Banks is already making enemies left and right!

Azealia, a foul mouthed newcomer who has been receiving a ton of buzz lately, took to her twitter to diss — and we mean DISS — fellow rapper Lil Kim.

It appears the drama began when Azealia, 20, who has made it clear she was a huge Kim fan, reached out to her to record a track. Okay, all seemed well until Azealia took to her Twitter page on Saturday and wrote the following about Lil Kim, 37, before unfollowing her on the Twitter -

“It really sucks when someone you respect and admire is trying to act brand new when all u did was reach out and try to work.. I can’t lie.. My little feelings are hurt. Women are so petty…. But whatever… Your loss.. Not mine.”

Seems classy enough but unfortunately it appears Azealia doesn’t know when to stop as she then included Lil Kim’s name in a very long series of nasty tweets posted below.

According to Azealia, after reaching out to Lil Kim about doing a song together, she also sent her a reference verse (a verse for Lil Kim to get an idea of how Azealia wanted her to rap on the song). Azealia claims Lil Kim was offended by the fact that Azealia wrote the verse for her (and she should as she continues to be plagued with rumors that she doesn’t write her own verses — a major no no in rap) and Kim’s assistant sent Azealia an email stating Kim no longer wanted to do the track.
