NFL’s Chad Ochocinco Dropped From the New England Patriots!

NFL star and all around super annoying personality Chad Ochocinco has been released by the New England Patriots.

The not so surprising move came after the Patriots spent most of Thursday trying to trade wide receiver before ultimately deciding to release him.

Ochocinco a.k.a Chad Johnson took his release in stride, posting the following message on his Twitter Thursday afternoon to thank Patriots fans.

“Thoroughly enjoyed the oppurtunity to play for the “Patriot” organization… fans were f—— wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best…,” he tweeted.

The 34-year-old Ochocinco earned $6 million this past season though he only caught just 15 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown in his only season with the Pats since being acquired from the Cincinnati Bengals last July.
