ESPN’s Samantha Steele Is Engaged to QB Christian Ponder!

All Minnesota Vikings quarterback, Christian Ponder wanted for Christmas was to be engaged to ESPN’s Samantha Steele – and now he is!

“Spoke to ESPN’s @Samantha_Steeletoday. She confirms she is engaged to @VikingsFootball quarterback Christian Ponder,” Sports Illustrated reporter Richard Deitsch tweeted.

The big shocker is however that the couple has only been dating for two months. Christian, 24, confirmed that he was even dating Samantha, 26, also via Twitter; “Is @cponder7 & @Samantha_Steele dating? If not, they should. #Noles.,” a (nosy) fan tweeted in October.  Christian replied, “actually yes they are.”

Total Frat Move was the first to announce the engagement and the cute way that Christian proposed- He used Christmas lights to spell out the words “Marry Me.”

Awwww!  Samantha accepted and got a football sized rock for it- it’s a doozy! Congrats to the newly engaged All American couple!
