The Dark Knight Rises Is No. 1 Again at Weekend Box Office!

For the second week in a row, The Dark Knight Rises came in first place at the box office!

The Batman trilogy, which features Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale, earned $64 million this weekend. The movie, which cost an estimated $250 mil to make, has now earned $289 million to date nationwide.

Animated movie Ice Age: Continental Drift remained strong at No. 2 with $13.3 million.  In third place was Ben Stiller’s alien invasion comedy The Watch, which somewhat flopped with a $13 million debut this weekend. Even worse, The Watch had a budget of $68 mil.

Dance movie Step Up Revolution came in fourth place with $11.7 million. Not too shabby for a movie that has a budget of $33 mil.

In fifth place was Ted, earning $7.4 million.
