Miranda Cosgrove Talks iCarly’s Final Season, Plus Going Off to College!

Yes iCarly fans, the hit Nickelodeon show is slated to go off the air this year as the cast is currently filming its sixth and final season.

E! Online caught up with the show star Miranda Cosgrove, who dished on leaving the show that made her a star, and also going off to college!

“Everybody’s been crying,” Miranda, 19, revealed. “But it’s nice because everybody’s moving on to new things. But we’ve all had so much fun doing the show. It’s definitely sad.”

So what are Miranda’s plans once the show ends in November? “I’m going on a little summer tour and then I’m going to start at USC in August,” she said.

“College is awesome,” continued Miranda. “I guess I really don’t know what to expect because I’ve been home schooling a long time. So I think I’m just excited to be back in a classroom with kids and stuff.”

Nickelodeon’s iCarly Final Episode Will Air In November!

All good things must come to an end, and that includes Nickelodeon’s hit show iCarly.

Yes after five seasons of awesomeness, TV Guide is reporting that the cast — which includes Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Noah Munck, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor — will film their last episode in June.

“Everyone at iCarly has been like family to me for five years,” executive producer Dan Schneider told TVGuide. “When we film our very last scene, there will be a lot of crying, I know. But I also know that in television, you don’t want to over-stay your welcome. I want to go out the way we are — on a creative high-note. ”

The final season is set to air in November.
