After packing on 70 pounds of baby weight, Jessica Simpson has some light at the end of the tubby-tunnel.
Thanks to Weight Watches Point Plus Program and four-times-a-week training sessions with celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak, Jessica’s body had made major progress!
“She’s so focused and determined,” tells her Weight Watchers leader, Liz Josefsberg, in Us Weekly. “She’s very brave to do this in a healthy, more realistic way.”
Brave? When I gain weight, I don’t have a celebrity trainer or a $4 million spokesperson position with Weight Watches, so what does that make me? Oh right. Just fat.
Jessica, 32, has been open about her weight battle saying; ”My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I’m just your everyday woman.”
Again, an ‘everyday woman’ with a tonne of cash and privileges.
So how exactly did Jessica lose the weight? By working out of course, and also by sticking to healthy portion-controlled meal plan — like egg whites with peppers and fat-free cheese for breakfast and a white fish with broccoli and asparagus for dinner. This helped her steadily lose all the extra pounds.
In fact Jessica is so dedicated to her weight loss plan that she packs her own lunches and snacks to bring to her work set, while also steadfastly avoiding the catering table.
When it comes to her exercise program, Jessica works out four-days-a-week, which includes 45-minute circuit-training sessions with her trainer, as well as single-leg squats and triceps extensions with bursts of cardio on the elliptical or stationary bike in between.
Trainer-Harley has nothing but praise for Jessica; “In over 20 years, I’ve never seen as consistent a weight loss,” he tells Us. “Jessica’s right where she needs to be . . . She’s gotten so much stronger.”
Jessica also has been reported saying she loves the support of her fellow
fatties overweight-challenged; “It’s really encouraging to know we’re all going through the same struggle.”

Weight Watchers spokesperson Jessica Simpson has struggled while trying to lose the weight she gained during her pregnancy with baby Maxwell.
It seems that at some point the struggle led her to look into having lap band surgery…twice, but doctors vetoed that idea.
“After having her daughter Maxwell, Jessica felt there was no way she could ever lose the weight on her own because she has struggled so much in the past and her post partum weight seemed to be growing,” a friend revealed about Jessica, 32.
Two different doctors told Jessica that they did not believe the surgery was a good idea and “she was persuaded to keep pushing to do it the natural way,” according to her friend who spoke to Radaronline.com
Simpson has been losing the weight with the help of trainer Harley Pasternak and her Weight Watchers regimen. Recently Jessica told Katie Couric that she was only 10 pounds away from her goal.
“With the doctors’ words and her friends’ encouragement, she is finally shedding the pounds without surgery!” said the source.
For those of you that don’t know, lap bound surgery consists of an inflatable silicone device being placed around the top part of the stomach, in order to slow down food consumption. The surgery can be dangerous and is not meant as a quick fix, nor meant for people who only have a few pounds to shed.
Get to the gym and stop eating Doritos instead.

Oh shiz! Jessica Simpson has definitely shed most of her pregnancy weight gain!
The yummy mummy (okay, I really hate that phrase) stepped out yesterday and made certain to show off her weight loss in some daisy dukes! Jessica, 31, who signed a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers, recently revealed she has lost over 40 pounds with the program. That weight loss however did not come easy.
“I’m not a supermodel,” Jessica stated. “My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter [Maxwell, 4 months], her fiance and herself,” Simpson told USA Today on September 4th. “I feel like everybody can do what I am doing.” Sure, especially when you get to be a spokesperson for Weight Watches PointsPlus program.
“Nobody wants to talk about their weight,” she says. “For me, I have had to come to a place where I am comfortable with myself.” I’m a mom now, and get to be a role model for this beautiful little girl.” Really? Then I’d forget the weight issue and start working on getting smarter.
Besides the WW program, Simpson also works out with private trainer, Harley Pasternak, about four to five times a week, and gushes, “I’ve lost weight every single week.” Good for you! However, she still indulges. ”I’m a woman who wants her chocolate. I allot myself a fun-size bag of M&Ms. I eat one of those, and my craving is satisfied. I don’t need the whole bag.” Good! Just days before she is set to reveal her post baby weight loss body on national television, Jessica Simpson was snapped on Tuesday (Sept. 4) in Los Angeles!
TMZ, which was able to obtain the new photos of Jessica, says the pics were taken after Jessica finished working out, and exactly four months since the 31-year-old singer gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew.
While some are now saying Jessica doesn’t appear to have lost a lot of weight, she is insisting she is just 10 pounds away from her pre-pregnancy weight!
“I’m 10 pounds away from my pre-baby size,” Jessica, who weighed 170 pounds while pregnant, tells the latest issue of Us Weekly magazine.
So how did she do it? Jessica, who has a $4 million deal with Weight Watcher, reveals she wakes up at 7 a.m., feeds her baby and then eats the following for breakfast: half a Flatout flatbread sandwich with egg whites, peppers and fat-free cheddar (6 PointsPlus).
In just 5 days, Jessica plans to reveal her new body on Jess reveals her “new” body on Katie Couric’s new talk show. And on September 10, she will debut her new figure in a series of Weight Watchers commercials.

Jessica an insider close to her tells Life & Style. “She can’t wait to reveal the results.”
What we do know is that Jessica has struggled quite a bit with her pregnancy weight as she reportedly gained over 60 lbs while pregnant with her first child. Jessica signed a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers while pregnant, but unfortunately was unable to work out for six weeks following her delivery due to her c-section.
In addition to dieting, Jessica has also hired her former trainer, Harley Pasternak to help get her pre-baby body back.
“Jessica’s doing great!” her best friend, CaCee Cobb, tells Life & Style. “Are you kidding? She’s motivating all of us. We have our weekly Weight Watchers meetings, and it’s so much fun. We all keep one another on track.”
