Is Justin Bieber’s alleged paparazzo victim faking his injuries for a possible settlement from the Biebs?

Accoding to a new report, that answer is yes! Radar Online is reporting today that the photographer who claims Justin, 18, assaulted him over the weekend had zero visible injuries and his trip to the emergency room was “unremarkable” according to a police source.

The drama took place on Sunday when Justin and girlfriend, Selena Gomez, 19, were leaving a mall in Calabasas when he got into a scuffle with the photographer. Words were apparently exchanged and the photographer is now claiming Justin hit him. Seriously dude, you do realize you’re telling the world you got beat up… by Justin Bieber!

The paparazzo called 911, filed a report with the police and went to the hospital to be checked out. Justin and Selena had exited the scene before the cops arrived, and TMZ confirmed earlier this week that the case had been handed to prosecutors.

“The photographer had no visible injuries and he didn’t require any further medical attention when he went to the emergency room. The injuries that the photographer claims to have are rather unremarkable,” a law enforcement source tells Radar.

“The case hasn’t been referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office because the investigation is only just beginning. The only statement that has been given is from the alleged victim and other eyewitnesses, including Mr. Bieber’s girlfriend, Selena Gomez, need to be interviewed. At some point very soon, I anticipate that detectives will formally reach out to Justin Bieber for a request for an interview, although he isn’t under any obligation to do so and neither is his girlfriend,” Sergeant Michael Holland, lead detective at the Malibu/Lost Hills station revealed.

Sources on the scene however insist the photographer provoked the altercation by blocking Justin’s car. If arrested, Justin will reportedly face up to 6 months in jail.
