Kate Middleton’s Nurse Had a History of Failed Suicide Attempts
The Australian DJ’s and the Royal Family must be relieved to discover the nurse who took her own life after a prank call to Kate Middleton’s hospital room, had a history of suicide attempts.
Jacintha Saldanha was the nurse who took the call to Kate Middleton’s room (after the Duchess was admitted with dehydration) and answered the questions of the fake Queen and Prince Charles. Shortly after the prank call went worldwide, Jacintha was reported to have killed herself. However, according to The Daily Mail, the nurse had two prior attempts of suicide already; first she OD’d on pills last December, then she tried once again to end it all nine days later by attempting to jump off a building.
In addition, Jacintha was also undergoing treatment in an intensive care unit as well as being under psychiatric treatment where she got scripts for a number of antidepressants.
As sad as this story is, at least the pranksters can rest easy knowing they weren’t actually the killers, but rather “only” the straw that broke the camel’s back.

The two DJ’s responsible for the prank call made to Kate Middleton’s private nurse, have removed themselves off the air, following the death of the nurse who transferred the call, Jacintha Saldanha.
TMZ reported that Southern Cross Austereo, the company that owns the radio station at which the DJ’s work (worked?), issued the following statement; “SCA and 2Day FM are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of nurse Jacintha Saldanha from King Edward VII’s Hospital.”
SCA added that the two DJ’s Mel Greig and Michael Christian, were “deeply shocked” and “completely shattered,” by Jacintha’s death, and had decided that “they will not return to their radio show until further notice out of respect for what can only be described as a tragedy.”
Though Mel and Michael have expressed deep regret for the prank, they have received an onslaught of criticism online including comments such as: “you scumbag, hope you get what’s coming to you” and “I hope you’re happy now.”
Meanwhile, Kate and Prince William were very upset by the news of Jacintha’s death, which appears to be a suicide, though the authorities are currently treating the death as “unexplained”; “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Jacintha Saldanha,” a statement from a St. James’s Palace spokesman read. “Their Royal Highnesses were looked after so wonderfully well at all times by everybody at King Edward VII Hospital, and their thoughts and prayers are with Jacintha Saldanha’s family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.”
On his Facebook page, Jacintha’s husband posted; “I am devastated with the tragic loss of my beloved wife Jacintha in tragic circumstances, she will be laid to rest in Shirva, India.”
While this whole thing is absolutely devastating, I’m really not sure if Mel and Michael deserve to be blamed for all this … They made a poor choice, but to be blamed for a death? I just don’t know.

The royal duchess, Kate Middleton, 30, has shown us many of her fashion sides this past year, including the lack of with her nudie-bobbies. However, for the opening of the Treasures at the Natural History Museum in London on Tuesday, she debuted a daring new hairstyle!
And we mean daring as in daring for a dutchess! Kate is making headlines for her new haircut which included shorter, side-swept layers with the rest of her hair curled in loose, shiny waves.
The hair wasn’t the only thing that caught the public’s attention as Kate was also sporting a dress that can only be described as Mary-Tyler-Moore-meets-Mrs-Brady-meets-possibly-the-Queen’s-own-closet.
This buttoned-up, sea-foam green, over-pleated dress made her look more like someone’s kindergarten teacher than a woman with access to any designer she chooses. Plus, she’s already worn this icky little number almost a year ago to date during a media event hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace.
Oh well despite her poor choice of attire she did give this statement about the museum; “It is a huge honor to be here tonight,” she told the audience. “The Natural History Museum has a very special place in the heart of this nation. William and I are just two of millions of people who have passed through these doors and marveled at the spectacular wonders of the natural world, housed in this beautiful gallery.”
She continued, “I care passionately about what this museum stands for. Being here tonight, seeing some of nature’s finest treasures, reminds me just how precious and awe-inspiring the natural world is.”
I would venture to say perhaps this dress should be put in a museum. Nice try, Kate, but this misses the mark.

Amid the controversy — more below, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s honeymoon photos have been released!
The photos, which were first published by Australia’s Woman’s Day, shows the royal couple enjoying their time together on a private beach at North Island in the Seychelles.
The pics, which were taken on May 19, 2011, show a shirtless William and Kate in a bikini.
As for the controversy, the royal family is said to be furious because they had a deal with the media to leave the newlyweds alone on their honeymoon by a) not sending photographers to their location, and b) not publishing any photos that might have been snapped.
And it appears the media kept to their word with the exception of the Australian mag. Oh well, the photos are out and more are below, as well as some bikini pics of Kate from a different vacation.

Prince William Feels Like He “Missed Out On Fun” by Being Tied to Kate Middleton
According to the latest issue of Star Magazine, Prince William, 29, and Kate Middleton, 30, are far from being glowing newlyweds as the couple is now stuck in the ‘sexless rut’ of a decade-long relationship, with the Prince reportedly having a few regrets.
“William’s been with her for more than 10 years,” Nicholas Davies, royal author and longtime friend of Princess Diana, tells Star. “He missed out on all the fun once he and Kate met at university.”
Not helping the situation is William’s brother Prince Harry, 27, who has joked that his brother became “middle aged” after the wedding. Plus seeing Harry live a fun bachelor lifestyle hasn’t made things easier for William.
“He sees Harry with a string of beautiful girls, and he must regret missing out on so much because he was tied to Kate,” says Davies.
So does William want to make up for lost time? “Some feel he should have sown some wild oats before setting down,” one veteran royal correspondent tells Star. “You just hope he hasn’t got married too young and is tempted by other women.”
Another source adds: “William is definitely breaking out on his own. He enjoys a booze-up with the boys, and he’s no longer living in Kate’s pocket.” Uh oh. Could this spell trouble for the royal couple?

Prince William & Kate Middleton Have Had No Sex In 4 Months, Says Report
It appears we can officially put those royal baby bump rumors to rest as a new report is claiming Kate Middleton and Prince William are going through a dry spell.
The latest issue of Star Magazine is reporting the 30-year-old Dutchess and the 29-year-old Prince are currently having a sexless marriage as a source reveals the two are barely spending any time together. And when their travel schedules do allow them to be in the same location, William’s military duties tend to get in the way.
“More often than not [for Kate], it’s a case of off to bed for the night on her own while her husband is working,” a source close to the couple tells Star magazine.

Another source suspects that Kate is also likely trying to avoid a pregnancy. Err there are ways to have sex AND avoid that in this day and age no?
“My guess is that she doesn’t want to spoil that gorgeous figure,” Nicholas Davies, author of William: The Rebel Prince, adds. So we have to ask…
