PHOTOS: Kate Upton Slammed For Being “Fat” After Bikini Photo Shoot In Antarctica!
Kate Upton braved the extreme Antarctica cold recently for hush-hush Sports Illustrated photo shoot.
The 20-year old model was on a private 10-day cruise from Argentina to Antarctica that departed on November 29th and returned December 9th. Once at their destination Kate and crew got busy on the shoot, which included Kate stripping down to an itsy-bitsy white bikini while aboard the cruise ship. The temperature in Antarctica was hitting -35 degrees. Kate’s was also photographed on islands crawling with cute penguins.
TMZ was told that the model only worked a few minutes at a time, and was huddled in a fur coat in between shots.
Kate’s shoot, while adventurous, has also led to some discussion on whether or not these pictures are just plain unflattering. Comments such as these can be found all over the TMZ discussion board:
“That chick is fat! If she’s only 20 I can only imagine what 30 will look like for her!”
“It’s official. She needs to go on a diet n workout program. Maybe 10 lbs, will firm her center up. She has DD’s at least. A few lost pounds won’t hurt her up top.”
Ouch. It wouldn’t be the first time Kate’s weight is criticized. Kate herself has responded to criticism by saying; “I’m not going to starve just to be thin. I want to enjoy life and I can’t if I’m not eating and miserable.” I say kudos to that!

Ladies and gents, the woman in the above photo is apparently “fat.” Who knew?!
Yes, it was only a matter of time until some douchebag blogger decided to call model Kate Upton, known for her famous curves, “fat” with “huge thighs.” And no folks, you are not being punked. This is for realz!
The Jezebel blog is pointing out today the comments made by a site called Skinny Gossip which not so shockingly promotes the anorexic eating disorder.
The site, which apparently scoped the net for unflattering photos of the 20-year-old bikini model not only compared her to a cow, but also describes her as “thick, vulgar, almost pornographic – and she is a solid 30 lbs too heavy for this outfit.” The said outfit is below.
Unfortunately, the doucheness did not end there as the site added this description of Kate -
“Huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs, terrible body definition — she looks like a squishy brick. Is this what American women are “striving” for now? The lazy, lardy look? Have we really gotten so fat in this country that Kate is the best we can aim for? Sorry, but: eww!”
With this kind of thinking, it’s no wonder young girls feel the need to live up to very unrealistic body images. But we’re pretty certain 99.9889% of heterosexual men would love to date a “cow” like Kate.

Bikini model Kate Upton has arguably become one of the most desired women on the planet all at the tender age of 20. Yes she’s only 20!
And things don’t appear to be slowing down for Kate anytime soon as she is gracing the cover for the July issue of GQ magazine.
To go along with the sexy photos she took for the mag, posted below, Kate also spoke to the mag about her adventures this year and being linked to NFL quarterbacks — Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow.

On The Most Exciting Thing She’s Done Recently:
“For the GQ photo shoot, we were on that ride where the seat spins while the actual ride is spinning, and I’m wearing a one-piece. And all of a sudden the whole entire top falls off! I’m holding myself, laughing, turning bright red, but a lot of people are watching, so they kicked us out of the Santa Monica Pier–it was so embarrassing…You wouldn’t think that would happen with a one-piece!”
On Being Linked to Quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow -
“I’m going to be less emotionally involved this year, says Kate who has been rumored to have dated Mark for months.
On The Nun Bikini Controversy -
“I can see why the Catholic Church would be upset with me,” she says on wearing a white coif, some rosary beads, and a black nun bikini outfit in the trailer for the Farrelly brothers’ The Three Stooges. “But it was just for fun, and I try not to take it more seriously than that.”
