Nicole Kidman Talks Marriage to Tom Cruise, and His Divorce to Katie Holmes!
I have always thought so, but she keeps on proving it – Nicole Kidman is a class act.
Recently the gorgeous American-Australian actress spoke to Who magazine - she was on the cover of their 20th anniversary issue- about her ex-husband Tom Cruise’s divorce to Katie Holmes.
After Katie escaped left Tom, rumors sprang up that Nicole had counseled Katie during the separation.
Nicole finally set the rumors to rest when asked by Who whether she had spoken to Katie after the young actress filed for divorce: “I never spoke to her. I wish all of them well, but I was not involved in any of that, “said Kidman.
Nicole spoke highly of motherhood as well. “I’m amazed that I have been a mother for so much of my life now. It’s odd, but because of them I don’t feel 45. All my kids are highlights of my life. They are all of my biggest joys.”
When asked about being married to freak show ex–husband Tom, Nicole in her usual dignified manner replied: “I got married really fast and really young. But I don’t regret that because it got me [children] Bella and Connor and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period. There were times following [the divorce] when I thought, ‘Wow, this is the loneliest, loneliest existence,’ But with Tom, it was a fantastic decade. I wish all of the people that have been involved in my life well, because it’s very important to me to be in a place of forgiveness and love.”

Where is Tom Cruise?
That’s what Suri wants to know. Apparently the last time the sweet six year old saw her daddy was back on August 4th, when the duo was snapped during a photo op at Disney World. Making it over 40 days since the actor saw his little girl.
Cruise didn’t even bother showing up to Suri’s first day of school at private NYC school Avenues. A family friend told In Touch magazine, “He has the means. He could have flown to NYC for one day to see Suri off to school. It was selfish. He was out having a good time.”
Tom didn’t even bother trying to gain custody of his daughter from his wife of five years, Katie Holmes, after she announced her divorce plans, unbeknown to him. Instead, just a few days before the first day of school, he was seen at a pub, “laughing and talking a lot to everyone like he didn’t have a care in the world,” according to an onlooker who spoke to In Touch.
Attorneys have been quoted as saying that Cruise has been busy working in London for the film, All You Need Is Kill.
Though it stands to reason that, if a man with Tom’s kind of money can’t bother to show up for the first day of school of his own daughter, something drastic MUST have been standing in his way. Perhaps the Mother Ship finally came to get him?? Maybe he had some more couches to jump on?
It must have been a pressing matter either way.

According to a new report, Tom Cruise is starting to show strains of stress just weeks after his wife of years Katie Holmes blindsided him with a divorce.
The Grazia is reporting that Tom, who is pictured above on July 30, has lost 14 pounds in just the last couple of weeks.
“Tom’s friends and family have urged him to take a break, but he has brushed off their concern,” says a source. “He is refusing to slow down and is trying to soldier on. He doesn’t seem to be himself. He hasn’t been working out like he normally does and doesn’t appear to be eating well at all. His clothes just hang off him.”
The source continues: “His way of dealing with this is to throw himself into his work, but as a result he’s not looking after himself, and he risks cutting himself off from people who care about him and want to make sure he’s OK.”
Meanwhile, E! News is confirming today that the divorce between Tom, 50, and Katie, 33, was finalized on Monday in New York City.
Not that surprising as the former couple was able to hash out divorce settlement in early July, just a week after Katie filed for divorce.
It has been reported that Katie gets nothing in the agreement when it comes to spousal support though she will be getting $10 million in child support for 6-year-old daughter Suri over the next 12 years. She also reportedly received primary legal and physical custody.

Poor Tom Cruise. Despite the fact that he quickly caved in and gave Katie Holmes pretty much everything she wanted in their divorce settlement, it doesn’t appear the negative publicity surrounding him will be going away anytime soon.
The latest is a new report by the LA Times which chronicles just how Katie, 33, escaped from the strong holds of Tom, 50, and Scientology. You gotta love how the media outlets are all using the word “escape” to describe Katie’s decision to split. Pretty accurate use of the word by the way.
But back to the LA Times which confirms Katie had to use a disposable cell phone provided by to her by a friend to secretly contact her divorce attorneys. It gets even better as Katie did not take any chances, even going as far as to hire three different law firms in three different states, to make certain she was ready for any moves Tom might have wanted to make. Wowzers. She definitely covered all her bases.
So why did Katie have to go through such great lengths to secretly file for divorce? Well if you guessed Scientology, you guessed right! Apparently Katie, who was used to being followed by the “religious” group, had to hide her plans out of fear that they, with the help of Tom, might have tried to take her 6-year-old daughter Suri away from her.
Next, Katie graces the latest cover of Us Weekly as the mag goes into more detail of just how creepy and controlling Tom was, plus how Tom’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman actually provided support to Katie in private.
First sources reveal Tom controlled every aspect of Katie’s life.
“Every move had to go through Tom’s camp, including when she could see her family. She was monitored around the clock,” a source tells Us Weekly. A second friend of Katie’s adds, “Katie felt she was being watched more than protected.”
Tom’s crazy control didn’t end there as it also included cutting off Katie’s privacy. Her mail “had to be sent to Tom’s team to open first.” Wow to the zers.
Tom also allegedly instructed his staff to cut out magazine pictures of he and Katie “looking in love” to frame and place them around hotel rooms when they traveled.
Us Weekly also adds that Katie had been communicating with Nicole secretly while she planned to leave Tom. “They’ve spoken over the last few weeks,” a confidante of Katie’s reveals of her and Nicole, 45. “Nicole has been supportive, saying she’s been through it too and to hang in there.”
“She has been a private friend not many people know about,” the source continues. “Nicole offered her support and help.”
In the meantime, Katie appears happier than ever to be putting this nightmare behind her. She stepped out yesterday in NYC with her mother Kathleen Holmes and Suri. She definitely looks like someone who is enjoying her newly found freedom!

It’s been 24 hours since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes shocked us with what is being called the quickest celebrity divorce settlement in the history of celebridom.
Just less than two weeks after Katie, 33, reportedly blindsided Tom by filing for divorce and requesting sole custody of their 6-year-old daughter Suri, the two came to a divorce settlement on Monday (July 9) and the good news is, details of that confidential agreement are staring to leak out!
And it appears Team Cruise really really badly wants us to believe he only quickly caved in settled this case because he wanted to protect Suri. But unfortunately for Tom, pretty much no one is buying that tale as most believe he quickly settled this case because he wanted the very negative publicity regarding his personal life, questions about his sexuality and the validity of this marriage, plus criticism of his Scientology religion to go away.
According to Radar Online, Katie played hardball and got everything she wanted. The site claims Katie got primary custody of Suri and will get to reside in New York City with her. Tom will get visitations though he is not allowed to involve Suri in anything Scientology related, and Katie’s nanny and bodyguards will reportedly accompany Suri during her visits with Tom to prevent any brainwashing. Wowzers.
TMZ is however denying some of Radar’s details as the site claims that while Katie does have primary custody, Tom got ‘generous visitation’ and that Katie’s nanny and bodyguards are not required to accompany Suri during her time with her dad. TMZ does confirm there are very detailed clauses in the agreement which prohibits both Tom and Katie from talking about religion with Suri.
TMZ’s spin sounds like it came directly from Tom’s camp so I’m more inclined to believe Radar’s side.
Plus Us Weekly also reported on the divorce agreement which seems to back up Radar’s report. Katie’s camp tells Us Weekly “She won and is happy. Very happy.” The source adds, “She can move on and finally live her life.”

Katie Holmes is a free b*tch and the church of Scientology can finally breathe a sigh of relief!
Why? Well Katie’s attorney is confirming she and husband Tom Cruise have reached the fastest divorce settlement in the history of celebrity divorces as Tom doesn’t want any of his dirt to come out. Even more shocking at the speed this settlement was reached considering Tom’s camp has been leaking stories about how “blindsided” he was by Katie’s divorce filing.
DID TOM CRUISE & KATIE HOLMES HAVE A FAKE MARRIAGE?
Katie‘s lawyer Jonathan Wolfe released the following statement to PEOPLE -
“The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life. This result could not have been achieved without the hard work of my partner Gary Skoloff and our co-counsel Allan Mayefsky, Michael Mosberg and Larry Trachtenberg of Aronson Mayefsky and Sloan and Peter Walzer and Chris Melcher of Walzer & Melcher in California.
We thank Tom’s counsel for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution. The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.”
Translation – ‘We had Tom and Scientology by the balls hence the reason we were able to come to this quick divorce agreement. Katie played this excellently and got everything she wanted from Tommy Boy who did not want this to drag on for any minute longer. In return, all Katie had to do was release a joint statement with Tom regarding everything.’ End translation.
Indeed just moments before the couple came to a divorce agreement, they released a joint statement regarding their 6-year-old daughter Suri.
“We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri’s best interests. We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents.”
Today’s events come as no shocker though I am surprised they were able to come to this settlement as quickly as they did. Here’s to hoping Katie settled for nothing less than supervised visitation with Tom when it came to Suri.
A former Scientology official came out last week stating he witnessed the “religion” brainwashing Nicole Kidman’s adopted kids with Tom into thinking their mom was a sociopath. Here’s to hoping they don’t try the same with Suri.
For the time being, the details of the divorce settlement which also includes custody issues, are being kept under wraps. But we will bring it to you the minute they become public!
