Kelly Clarkson Talks Lesbian Rumors, Says She Gets Hit On By “Hottest Girls Ever”
Kelly Clarkson is not a lesbian though she’d be lucky if she were.
The singer, who is newly engaged to boyfriend of a year Brandon Blackstock, explained to Cosmopolitan magazine that rumors about her being gay may stem from her single status over the course of six years, before meeting Brandon; ”People think, ‘Oh, she’s been single for too long”,’ she said. ‘That’s kind of an insult to the gay community. Being single doesn’t mean you’re gay.” She went on to say that she’s had some hot offers because of the rumors; “I mean, I get hit on by the hottest girls ever. Oh, my god, if I were a lesbian, I would be so in luck. But it’s just not my thing.”
Kelly has addressed these rumors on several occasions and told E! back in September 2011 that the rumors were cramping her style; “People keep saying that I’m gay and … yeah, I’m not. I’m pretty sure I’ve never made out with girl. Sometimes, I wish I were because at this point, I would probably get hit on by a lot of girls! It’s just not helping me because I am straight. No boy wants to hit on my because I make mean songs about them and they think I’m gay.”
None of this means that Kelly has a problem with being gay- Kelly is a gay rights advocate and was quoted as saying she would vote for President Obama, during the last election, because of his stance on gay rights; “I’ve been reading online about the debates and I’m probably going to vote for Obama again…I can’t support Romney’s policies as I have a lot of gay friends and I don’t think it’s fair they can’t get married.”

It’s official! Kelly Clarkson is engaged to Brandon Blackstock!
The 30-year-old singer confirmed the good news just moments ago on her Twitter page.
“I’M ENGAGED!!!!!” she tweeted on Saturday. “I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever.”
Is Kelly’s Fiance Brandon Blackstock a Cheater?
Kelly and Brandon, a Nashville-based talent manager, began dating a year ago. Brandon, 35, the son of Kelly’s manager, Narvel Blackstock, who is married to Reba McEntire, has two kids with his ex-wife Melissa.
The engagement news is not so surprising as just last month Kelly dropped a big hint on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, revealing she and Brandon were “totally going to get married one day.”

Kelly Clarkson sure knows how to drop a hint.
Or not. The 30 year old singer appeared on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday and told Ellen that she and her boyfriend of nine months, talent manager Brandon Blackstock, are “totally going to get married one day.”
“I mean, he’s got to put a ring on at some point. But I’ll wait it out,” continued Kelly. Way to put the pressure on. Sheesh.
When Ellen asked the wannabe bride what kind of ceremony she wants, Kelly said she’s “never been the girl to plan a wedding,” and that she and Brandon “will totally, probably elope.”
I wonder if Brandon is aware of this?
“This is going to sound like I’m making a joke but it is so not. It is serious,” continued Kelly. “I am not alone for the first time for Thanksgiving and Christmas – and I am very happy.”
Totally.

Singer Kelly Clarkson graces the latest cover of UsWeekly magazine under the heading: How I Lost 30 pounds!
Kelly, age 30, who has been criticized most of her career for her weight has finally gotten down to her ideal weight with the help of dieting, exercising, and her boyfriend!
First Kelly credits her weight loss to a five days a week training schedule and a portion-control diet. The 5-foot-4 singer has shed a rather impressive 30 pounds in the last six months. “She feels better about herself than she ever has,” a source says of Kelly, who is now just 10 pounds away from her ultimate goal weight.
Kelly also credits her Nashville beau, talent manager Brandon Blackstock, 35, for inspiring her to get fit. “No one likes to be not toned when you are dating someone,” she says. And fortunately for Kelly, Brandon, who manages Blake Shelton, was very encouraging. The insider states, “Brandon is the first guy ever who tells her how beautiful and sexy she is. She wants to look good for him…”
So what exactly is Kelly’s slim down plan? Well according to her Tennesse-based trainer Nora James, Kelly breaks out a sweat doing cardio and weight-lifting sessions. Kelly also admits “I only run when I feel like I need to get destressed.”
When it comes to her diet, gone are the days of hamburger sliders and fish and chips. Now the singer sticks to vegetables and healthy proteins like chicken and fish. And rather than snacking during the day, she guzzles water and takes her dogs for long walks.
Kelly is however careful not to make her diet too rigid. To control cravings, she allows herself the occasional margarita or plate of barbecue. Then, says the source, “she eats well for her other meals to balance it out.”
