Rosie O’Donnell Doesn’t Want Lindsay Lohan To Die Like Whitney

Days after calling Lindsay Lohan incapable of playing Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime biobic, Rosie O’Donnell is refusing to back down from her comments!

After Rosie’s appearance on the Today Show on Tuesday, Lindsay, 25, did what she knows best which is to play victim and run to the media, with “sources” close to her telling TMZ she felt betrayed by Rosie’s comments.

Well Rosie, 50, appeared on the Today Show again this morning during which she made it clear that if Lindsay doesn’t change her druggie ways, she’ll end up like Whitney Houston, who died earlier this year from a drug overdose.

“Watching Whitney Houston’s funeral I remember thinking why didn’t more people say what they knew. We all knew. When she would not show up to do this show, not show up to my show. We watched Being Bobby Brown,” said Rosie.

She continued, “They were people in the throes of addiction. But all we cared about was the ratings, not that this talented individual, this human being, this mother, this daughter, was worth saving and pulling out of the money market industry and I know only someone can be in control of their own sobriety, but to look at Lindsay Lohan you cannot help but feel for her. I do not think she’s untalented. I think she’s quite talented.”

Rosie did also add that Lindsay was a ”beautiful, talented little kid,” but, “We’ve all seen what’s happened in the last decade and it’s tragic.”

And what better way to prove Rosie’s point than the fact that Lindsay actually showed up late to the set of Glee yesterday due to a late night of partying! Yikes. Sources however tell TMZ that Lindsay’s tardiness did not hold up production.

Perhaps Rosie is on to something after all…
