Katy Perry’s New Documentary Will Include Divorce Drama; Plus Did Russell Call Her “Fat & Ugly”?

Katy Perry is now revealing that her upcoming autobiographical film — “Part of Me” — will touch on her breakup with ex-husband Russell Brand.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show on Tuesday, Katy, 27, revealed her fans will experience the highs and lows of her life when her 3-D concert documentary is released in theaters in July.

“I thought it was important for me to show everything in between,” said Katy of “bumpy” ride. “Sometimes, people think that we’re perfect, and we know we’re not perfect at all,” she continued. “I think it’s important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream, you have to always be perfect or flawless or live in a fantasy world. So that’s why I decided to put everything into the film, in the most tasteful way.”

And in other Katy news, a new article today by Life & Style magazine is stating that ‘Part of Me’ will reveal Katy’s major lows in dealing with her divorce from Russell, which includes crying herself to sleep at night during her California Dreams tour.

“Katy was crying all the time and screaming about working too much,” a source says. “It was obvious it was close to over.”

The insider who has seen parts of the movie adds that Russell will be portrayed pretty horribly and that viewers will see Katy crying backstage before going on to perform.

“Katy tried to save the marriage,” the source says. “He made her feel ugly and fat and stupid.” Yikes.
