Robert Pattinson Admits To Suffering From Depression After Twilight Fame
Looks like Kristen Stewart wasn’t the only thing out of Twilight to cause Rob pain.
In an interview with French magazine Premiere, Robert Pattinson, 26, admitted that the instant fame he experienced after the first Twilight film caused him to fall into some bad times.
“I went through a big time of depression between 23 and 25, I couldn’t go where I wanted to go. I was in the tabloids every day and I didn’t have access to the roles I really wanted. I wanted more, on every level,” said Rob.
While co-stars Kristen and Taylor Lautner, who also became big time stars after the 2008 film debuted, went on to do other projects in between their Twilight stints, Rob felt he “was just going in circles,” and began to ask himself if he “was going to take a break and go back to music .”
Robert was afraid he wouldn’t be able to get the types of roles he wanted and said he “finally realized that you needed to earn this change“ he so “desperately wanted.”
“One way or another, you had to suffer to be able to make it,” continued Robert. Then, one day director David Cronenberg called him up and offered him a role in the film Cosmopolis. This new role helped lift Rob’s spirits and gave him something new to focus on.
After the promotional tour for Breaking Dawn 2, the final film in the Twilight series, wraps up, Rob is set to begin shooting films The Rover and Mission: Blacklist.
So was this depression thing a legitimate feeling or just a case of poor little rich boy?

Anyone else think the whole R Patz/Trampire/creepy old married guy saga’s a bit… bizarre?
The latest in the whole sorry mess is that Kirsten Stewart, having suffered with doubts over the relationship prior to the cheating revelations, has now decided she’s ready to fully commit.
In fact the (former?) couple are said to be looking at tying the knot within the next couple of months.
Woah. Hold up. Call us crazy but surely getting caught boffing someone else in an intimate situation with another man would usually indicate a distinct UN-readiness for the sanctity of marriage and all of it’s relatively weighty commitments…
A source tells Life & Style that following Kirsten’s return from Paris fashion week, she immediately hooked up with Rob Pattinson on a romantic rendezvous, the source also goes on to state:
“Kristen doesn’t want to stay away from Robert for long. The cheating scandal made her realize that without Rob she just doesn’t have much. Without him she was lost,” the pal spilled. “She would absolutely want to get engaged soon, maybe even elope this winter.”
The source adds: “An engagement and wedding would seal the deal between them and make Kristen very happy.”
Til death do us part? Edward and Bella may have that one nailed – being immortal vampires and shizz. Forsaking all others? We guess she’s gonna have to work on that one…

Kristen Stewart Says She and Robert Pattinson are “Totally Fine”, Plus How She’s Coping
Is Kristen Stewart living in denial or is she just putting on a brave face?
Days ago Kristen, 22, made her first red carpet appearance since the cheating scandal rocked both her life and relationship with boyfriend of 3 years Robert Pattinson.
Kristen’s appearance was to promote her new movie On The Road at the Toronto International Film Festival. And over the weekend, the Twilight actress gave an interview to the Associated Press, during which she was asked not so much about the state of her personal relationship with Rob, 26, but more about what it will be like to walk the red carpets and do press together with him for The Twilight Saga‘s final installment, Breaking Dawn — Part 2.
“We’re going to be fine,” she said of Rob, who has reportedly dumped her since news of her affair with her SWATH director became public. “We’re totally fine.”
Kristen also admitted to feeling “nervous” about this red carpet appearance though she ended up receiving a ton of fan support.
“I was a little nervous, obviously. I’m always nervous before a red carpet,” said Kristen. ‘To be honest, I was just kind of telling myself, like, just don’t black out. Be there, don’t just figuratively put your head down and barrel though it. Be there, appreciate it. Luckily, very, very much I was able to do that. You expect a lot of people at a Twilight premiere, but showing up at an On the Road Toronto film festival screening and seeing that amount of people is absolutely, disarmingly amazing. It felt pretty cool.”
Though Kristen is putting on a brave face in public, a recent report is stating she is now trying to “stay busy” as she is still having a tough time coping with the affair and aftermath in private.

Kristen Stewart not only made her first red carpet appearance since her cheating scandal with her married SWATH director made headlines, but she actually managed to flaunt a smile!
The 22-year-old actress looked stunning last night on Thursday (September 6) at the premiere of her new movie On The Road during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.
Kristen faced a ton of photographers and reporters while wearing a couture floral dress by Zuhair Murad to go along with her Jimmy Choo pumps.
While on the red carpet, Kristen received a ton of fan support with some of her fans holding up signs which read “Talent, Beauty, Strength and Courage — We stand by Kristen always,” while another stated: “We are always with you Kristen Stewart.”
Kristen’s ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson also stepped out last night as he made an appearance at the MTV VMAs in Los Angeles.

Kristen Stewart “Can’t Stop Crying” & Wants Robert Pattinson Back; Tells Him She “Never Had Sex” With Rupert Sanders
Bringing you the latest in the never-ending Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson saga!
We now have more of Us Weekly’s latest story on the former? couple which reveals that a tortured Kristen, 22, can’t stop crying and is desperate for Robert, 26, to take her back.
“She isn’t sleeping and she stays up all night crying,” says a source of the Twilight actress. “She can’t do anything. She is really so distraught.”
The good news for Kristen is that Rob is finally talking to her again after shutting her out for weeks. “They are talking,” says the insider. “Rob doesn’t hate her and he’s not mad. He just doesn’t get why she did it.” Indeed that is the question that plagues Rob each day with the source adding that “he still loves her and thinks about her constantly.”
As for Kristen, she is said to be completely withdrawn and is doing all she can to win Rob back. According to the insider, “Kristen insists she and her married Snow White director Rupert Sanders “never had sex,” and that Rupert, 41, pursued her.
“Rupert’s manipulative,” says the insider. “She didn’t go after this guy – he sought her out and she stupidly went for it.”
On top of everything else, Kristen, who is now being referred to as a “trampire” by many, is also worried about how her affair has turned fans against her.
“The heartache with Rob is so much to bear,” says the pal, “but Kristen has always valued here career. She doesn’t want this to jeopardize her future in acting.”
As for whether or not Rob & Kristen will eventually get back together, friends of the duo believe they will. “Rob’s dealing with a lot of indecision but their mutual friends think they will get back together. Kristen, after all, has said she wants to have his children.”
I must say I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob forgave Kristen and took her back, especially is those rumors of him cheating on her repeatedly in the past are also true. However, I’m still not buying this rhetoric being leaked out by Kristen’s camp to try to paint her as some poor victim who was preyed upon by the big bad powerful Hollywood director. The fact is that Kristen CHOSE to cheat with Rupert when she already had the role and had nothing to gain by doing so. Plus I’m also not buying the claims that she never had sex with Rupert. Those photos of the two together show a definite familiarity and intimacy.

Kristen Stewart Close to Having Emotional “Meltdown” Plus Rob Pattinson Wants To Know Why She Cheated
It’s now been almost a month since the entire world, Robert Pattinson included, discovered Kristen Stewart was having an affair with her married Snow White producer.
Since then, Kristen has remained in hiding, though she was photographed for the first time this week in California. And according to a new report by Us Weekly, Kristen, 22, is still having a hard time forgiving herself for hurting her boyfriend of three years Rob.
“She isn’t sleeping and she stays up all night crying,” a source tells Us Weekly. “She’s close to a total meltdown.”
K-Stew has reportedly been staying at her best friend’s house, Scout Taylor-Compton, while also frequenting her parents’ home in Los Angeles. Another source adds that Kristen “can’t do anything” and that she’s “so distraught.”
The same Us Weekly report confirms what has been widely reported which is that Rob, 26, is not yet over Kristen, and wants to know why she cheated. “He loves her and thinks about her constantly,” a source says.
“Rob doesn’t hate her and he’s not mad,” a source reveals. “He just doesn’t get why.”
And perhaps the most surprising part of the article is the fact that friends of Rob & Kristen strongly believe the two are not done yet.
“Rob’s dealing with a lot of indecision, but their mutual friends think they will get back together,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “Kristen, after all, has said she wants to have his children.”
An insider adds: “This truly isn’t the end of them.”
