Selena Gomez made a good choice finally ending her dysfunctional relationship, but can we say the same about her choice in film roles?
The first trailer of Selena’s new movie, Spring Breakers, has hit the internet and it’s all that Disney isn’t and doesn’t want to be.
The movie also starring James Franco, though you’d be very hard pressed to recognize him, what with the corn rows and metal grill, and Vanessa Hudgens, is the story of four bikini wearing college girls who rob a restaurant in order to fund their spring break. When they land in jail for their crime, they are bailed out by a drug and arms dealer (James Franco), who leads them into a world of violence and crime.
During an interview for Nylon magazine Selena spoke about her poor choice to star in this film; “It was my first audition in years. I definitely felt that with my first stepping-out role, I should choose something that I could understand a little more. I was really nervous, but Harmony (Korine) took a chance with me. He said, ‘You live in this bubble, and I’m going to take you out of it, but you have to trust me.’”
“Trust me”- Famous last words.

Selena Gomez Holds Hands With Luke Bracey! Confirms Breakup With Justin Bieber
The breakup between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber has been confirmed- by Selena herself.
“Is it true?” an unidentified friend of Selena’s asked her at an after party following the Golden Globes. “Yep, done!” Selena replied, according to Us Weekly. The singer/actress also admitted that her Mexican vacation with the Biebs was “awful. . . We were fighting.”
Don’t worry about Selena though. Not only did she enjoy herself after the Golden Globes, hitting up parties and having a great time with a group of pals, she was also having a good time with a possible new love interest; and boy is he a step up from Justin.
Selena was spotted getting “super close” and even holding hands with Australian actor Luke Bracey, 23, whom she co-starred with in the movie Monte Carlo, according to sources that spoke to Us Weekly. Selena was allegedly also seen making out with Josh Hutcherson that same night.

And so it appears Selena Gomez has a thing for little men and Justin Bieber are truly done for good this time!
According to a new report by the HollywoodLife, Selena is already moving on with none other than Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson.
Sources reveal to the site that Selena, 20, and Josh, 20, actually hooked up following the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 13.
After flirting and dancing together at the Weinstein Golden Globes after party in Beverly Hills, a source close to Selena reveals the duo were spotted leaving the Beverly Hilton hotel arm-in-arm, which led to a hook up afterwards! Wow. Sorry Justin!
An eyewitness at the party confirms the two were getting quite cozy in front of everyone. “She was dancing and flirting with Josh,” the source states. “Selena was dancing and having lots of fun and flirting with Josh… Selena and Josh left the Beverly Hilton together. Justin is in no way on her mind whatsoever.”
It will be interesting too see if a real relationship results out of this reported hook up!

In today’s very shocking photos, Selena Gomez hung out with Victoria Secret model Barbara Palvin at a Golden Globes afterparty on Sunday! And yes this is the exact same Barbara who reportedly had a fling with Justin Bieber and caused a break up between Justin & Selena last November. Whew!
It appears the two ladies, Selena, 20, and Barbara, 19, have made nice just days after Barbara gave an interview to Celebuzz and opened up about her involvement in the whole Justin/Selena dramz.
“You know how the drama started — Selena retweeted the picture,” said Barbara referring to a picture of herself, Justin, and his BFF/rapper Lil Twist backstage at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

“I’m okay to talk about it because I know there’s nothing. It’s ridiculous how this got to the news.”
Barbara denies she was ever romantically involved with Justin, claiming they were just “hanging out.” She adds: “That was it . . . that’s why it was so weird. They thought I caused a big drama, their break-up.” They is in “reference” to Justin & Selena’s fans.
Barbara also reveals that the photo of herself with Justin (posted below) was an innocent fan photo. “I wanted to meet him real bad,” she said. “I watched his movie [Justin Bieber: Never Say Never] and I was like, ‘He’s such a cool kid, I want to meet him.’ And then when I did at the [Victoria’s Secret] show we met and of course we had a conversation and then I took the picture with him.”
And how does she explain hanging out with Justin (they went to see Lion King on Broadway) days after the fashion show?
“It was my sister’s first time in New York and we so wanted to go to Broadway, but there were no more tickets,” she explained, denying it was a date. “I just came up and was telling him, ‘My sister is here, but she’s sad because we can’t go to Broadway, no more tickets.’ And he was like, ‘Well, I can get you one.’ And his friends came . . . like six people and then me, my sister and agent. So friends.”
Barbara closes out the interview stating the hardest part about being linked to the Biebs was that it hurt her real boyfriend.
“They [the media] gave me a real hard time with this with my boyfriend. They also put him in the press and he’s not a celebrity or anything,” she said. “Him being back home [in Hungary] with a normal life and everybody is like, ‘You’re girlfriend is dating Justin.’ It’s very hard for him.”
So we have to ask…

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Broken Up For Good This Time, Says Sources
Looks like it really may be the end for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
Maybe.
Multiple sources that spoke to Us Weekly say that Selena has finally had enough of Justin’s ways; “They had another huge fight, and Selena won’t forgive him.”
What was the fight about this time you ask? According to the New York Post’s Cindy Adams, Selena had suspicions that Justin was still seeing Victoria’s Secret Model Barbara Palvin, whom he’s been linked to in the past.
When Selena was ready to walk out on Justin, again, he allegedly told her not to “let the door hit you on the way out.” Big talk for a guy who is now supposedly crushed over the split.
“He’s been really down about the breakup,” another source told Us Weekly. I guess there is actually some truth behind the rumors that Justin has been pathetically calling Selena “hundreds” of times … with no response.
A woman scorned and all that.
“Selena is done with him.” About time.

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles Break Up
In expected news, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift’s relationship is already over. The young duo only came out of the relationship closet two months ago.
BusinessInsider.com reported that Taylor and Harry had a “heated” argument while vacationing on the British Virgin Islands’ Virgin Gorda, which led to Taylor pulling a Selena and hopping on a plane back to the states, leaving Harry behind- only three days into the ex(?) couples arrival on the island.
If Taylor thought that Harry was going to pine after her, she was totally wrong- the 18-year-old made a friend in Richard Branson and headed over to his private island immediately after Taylor took off to write her next song, ‘Why do Taylor’s Fall In Love?’
According to a source, Harry “did plenty of partying and was definitely enjoying himself while hanging out with guests,” while hanging out at Richard’s Necker Island for the day. “He returned to Virgin Gorda in the early morning hours looking like he had a raucous night.” Pictures of Harry’s fun times with the Branson crowd are up on Facebook.
Meanwhile, a source that spoke to Life & Style magazine is confirming the split; “They are both really busy and never in one place for long. Harry’s really upset about the split and is really sensitive about it,” the source explained. “Loads of his friends told him to be careful and that it was never going to last, and he feels a little foolish now that it’s fallen apart so quickly.”
On her part, Taylor tweeted a cryptic message on her Twitter page this past Saturday. Was the tweet meant to go in one direction? Who knows.
