Did Tom Cruise Spend Thanksgiving With Suri As Promised?
Wanna-be-Daddy-of-the-year, Tom Cruise, was supposed to spend time with his daughter, Suri, this past Thanksgiving after 17 weeks of being absent from her life. But did this family reunion actually occur?
According to Huffington Post; “Suri left Tuesday and will return Sunday to return to school on Monday,” a source close to Katie Holmes tells Huffington. “Tom and Katie agreed to this weeks ago.”
Huffington goes on to report; “Six-year-old Suri will join her dad, who is currently shooting a film in the UK, and Tom’s two other children, Conner and Isabella Cruise. Suri is currently living with her mom in NYC.”
Meanwhile Katie told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan a few days ago; “We have Thursday off, so I’m going to have a chance to go home with my family. My sister makes a really good sausage stuffing and my mom makes a great turkey.”
So much for the rumors that Katie was preparing her own Thanksgiving dinner for Tom and the family. Just as well as I’m sure she doesn’t need the added pressure of Tom and his Scientology philosophy on life.
After the big fuss Tom made about suing a magazine for false reports of his negligence to his daughter, it will be interesting to see if pictures of them together over Thanksgiving actually surface.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Marriage Was Over Six Months Before Split
Katie Holmes marriage to Tom Cruise was reportedly over six months before her actual quick departure with daughter, Suri.
According to court papers (exclusively obtained by the National Enquirer) it stated that the, “marital relationship” had “broken down irretrievably for a period of at least six months immediately preceding,” the papers state. The legal documents were dated August 17, 2012 and signed by New York State Supreme Court Judge Matthew F. Cooper.
This plays into the suspicions that Cruise was blind-sided by Holmes decision to leave the alien household and was planning this for quite some time.
However, even though Katie did sign a pre-nup, Suri won’t have to give up her lavish lifestyle. Cruise has to pay $400,000 a year to cover his child’s “medical, dental, insurance, unreimbursed medical and dental, education, college, extracurricular and camp expenses,” until Suri reaches 18.
If Tom decides not to cough up the cash he will face a jail sentence “for a term not to exceed six months.” Or until the aliens come and get him.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ Divorce is Hard on Suri Cruise
Little Suri Cruise is having a hard time adjusting to her parents divorce, and new modest- and we do use that term lightly- lifestyle.
Mom Katie Holmes is trying to help the six-year old through the adjustments which include giving up her designer duds for a Land’s End uniform, part of the strict dress code put in place by Suri’s new school NYC’s Avenues.
According to a friend of Katie’s who spoke to Us Weekly, “She said the divorce has been hard on Suri and she’s acting out. Katie says no to some things, but gives a little leeway. She knows Tom is going to spoil her.”
(Ya think? Cruise spent a mere $6,000 on a helicopter ride to the Hamptons for him and Suri over the summer. What’s next? An alien ship of her own? )
On September 5th, Holmes gave an interview to Women’s Wear Daily where she talked about her new approach to parenting, which has changed her views on failing. She says she is “no longer afraid to fail.” Through arts and crafts projects, which do not always work out as they wish, she has been trying to teach Suri the same line of thinking.
At least you tried,” Homes said about the duo’s efforts at crafts. ”I think, ‘Oh, I’m a great mom’ and then it doesn’t pan out the way I think it’s going to . . . But the intention’s there.”
We can only hope that the spoiled little angel is able to work through all the new changes in her very young life.
