What’s an NBA wife to do after filing for divorce from her cheating NBA hubby?

Well if you’re Vanessa Bryant, you decide to take him back and call off the divorce, after you have received your $75 divorce settlement! Perhaps Vanessa, 29, is much smarter than we all give her credit for!

TMZ is reporting today that Vanessa and Kobe Bryant, 33, are officially back together, and have decided to call off their divorce… for now.

See Vanessa filed for divorce last December accusing Kobe of cheating with multiple women (yeah, a professional athlete cheating — shocker!). Under California law, one has to wait 6 months before a divorce can be made official. Well that 6-month mark is this weekend, and Vanessa has apparently decided not to go through with it.

So what happens to the $75 million divorce settlement? Well what we know is that she will be keeping at least $18 million of it in the form of the three mansions Kobe agreed to hand over to her. TMZ confirms Kobe has already signed the deeds to her, meaning she owns them… despite the no divorce. Wowzers!

Another fun fact? Nessa was smart enough to hang in the marriage for 10 years before deciding to file for divorce, because under California law — a 10-year marriage and no prenup entitles the wife to receive half. Gold-diggers NBA wives everywhere, take note!
